Feline Endocrinology in the Real World

We'll look at what's new in feline hyperthyroidism and diabetes, including SGLT2i drugs, as well as discussing less common feline endocrinopathies.

WHAT THIS CE WILL COVER

1️⃣ Attendees will become more comfortable with choosing diabetic therapy for feline patients.

2️⃣ Attendees will gain knowledge of identifying how to approach a newly diagnosed hyperthyroid patient.

3️⃣ Attendees will improve recognition of less common feline endocrinopathies and their treatment options.

THE LOCATION

The Modern Animal Russian Hill clinic, one of our largest clinics, features a dedicated training room for hosting CE sessions.

Our food will be prepared and catered by Executive Chef Juan Torres of Lolinda on Mission Street in San Francisco.

All food will be served in individual "grab and go" boxes, allowing attendees to join before the lecture starts at 7:30 pm. Additionally, dessert, wine, and other non-alcoholic beverages will be available.

ABOUT DR. RENEE RUCINSKY

📍Lives in Maryland

🎓 Graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine

🏥 Board certified feline specialist for over 20 years and practice owner at Mid Atlantic Cat Hospital in Queenstown, MD

🐱 In addition to routine feline wellness care, her hospital has become a busy referral center for complicated feline internal medicine cases, especially for diabetic cats

🗣️ Dr. Rucinsky has lectured locally and nationally, and has enjoyed teaching and mentoring other veterinarians

When not working, you can find Dr. Rucinsky:

⛰️ Trail running or on her mountain bike

🐕 Camping with her plain brown dog
